Subnetting for Fun part&2




Here is another problem. Give network scenario, please answer the following questions.

Given 151.170.100.230 /26 this is a host IP address and subnet mask on one of these networks

  • What is IP address of the host (PC2)
  • What is Subnet mask (PC2)
  • What is Network ID
  • What is DG(Default gateway)
  • First available IP address
  • Last available IP address
  • Broadcast IP address
  • How may Networks
  • How many Hosts in each network
  • What is next network IP?

I need to correct this, I don't know what I was thinking. Anyways, there is only one thing to correct. with a class B /26 address, you get 1,024 networks, the hosts per network, Net ID and broadcast are still the same.
