What tool you can use to modify the Ad database – adsi.edit

Everybody is answering ADSI.EDIT

There are more tools that sys-admins use. Even DSA.MSC modifies ntds.dit database. When you think about it, when you change or do something in AD it directly modifies ad database to. right?

this sounds like an smart-ass answer but its true.

Frank - Annonymous again I git an answer to the journal wrap question.

What is Journal Wrap and how to troubleshoot journal wrap issues?
NTFS maintains a special log called the NTFS USN journal, If FRS processing falls behind the NTFS USN journal, and if NTFS USN journal information that FRS needed has been discarded, then FRS enters a journal wrap condition. FRS then needs to rebuild its current replication state with respect to NTFS and other replication partners. To continue replication, the administrator must stop FRS on that server and perform a non-authoritative restore of the data so that the system can synchronize with its replication partners. To perform a non-authoritative restore you reboot the DC into Directory Services Restore mode (DSRM) and then you restore the entire Active Directory DIT from the system state backup

Yeah.. I guess I need to shorten that for the quiz....

another one I didn't answer.
Which FSMO role is the less important? Infrastructure - not possitive on this one but that is my educated guess.. I mean answer

A switch, it reduces unnecessary network traffic.
6) What is AD? A Database
7) What is a Domain? Boundary of name spaces, replication, authentication and administration.
8) What's a DC? An authentication server.
9)What's a stand alone server? Could be an app. server, no AD database.

23) Which FSMO role is the most important? Though this could be more than one, I think DNS could be one of them.
24)Which FISMO role is less important? In my opinion, all of them are important.
25) If you have 12 domains and one forest, how many FSMO roles are there? 38
26) What's an OU? Organizational Unit.
27) What are 3 primary funcions of an OU? Organize objects, Delegate permission and deploy/apply GPOs.
